So a while back I broke my Iaconelli rod I was using for weed less senkos, flukes and Texas rigs up to about 3\8ths. I was gonna order another ike rod but don't like the finger style handle grip on this generation. I like rods in the 7 to 7ft 4 range. Lets say budget up to $150. Recommendations?

I know rod rec threads go up alot..but this is the first time you guys on here don't have an opinion!

3/8 total weight or 3/8 bullet weight? I’m going to assume you mean 3/8 total weight. Considering that plus the weightless senkos and flukes…I’d go M. I like the mojo bass, they have a 7’1 M/F but I don’t own that model.

Dobyns Kaden 713c . Love mine for what u listed

What type of line will you be using?

15lb copolymer

My recommendation would be a st croix mojo bass. I have had mine for a year and it has been through everything and still going strong. I will need to replace it here in the future when it finally breaks, had a bit of a accident last year with it when I got off the water with my kayak. It was dark out loaded the kayak on top of the car and went to the front of the car to grab my rods, I forgot that there was a wind. As I was walking towards the front of the car I heard a crunch. Wind blew my rods over and I stepped on it, didn’t break but it gouged the blank. Still going strong though.
