Fluorocarbon tough and long lasting?

Featured Replies

  • Super User

I have 5 setups for Ned rigs.  I have been using 6# fluorocarbon for a few years.  The 6# is only good for a short period. Yesterday I got broken off twice by fish that should have been easily boated.  I checked and all five have weak line.  What’s out there that won’t rot in a short period.

All of the other sizes last all year long.  I prefer not to mention the brand as I am not looking to bash anything.  I just want something that will work.

Or even go down to 4# from someplace else - Yo-Zuri under-states the strength of Hybrid.

Thanks rw.  I ordered some from BPS having it shipped to the Springfield store.

i'm so glad this forum helped me discover Yo-Zuri Hybrid, my local Dick's Sporting Goods has full stock of nearly every line strength, good thing know one else knows...
