Lews Customer service

Featured Replies

How is lews customer service if any one  has used them ? I bought a Super duty wide spool for big swim baits and similar items as that and it grinds so bad. My cast are limited regardless of weight on the reel. first time I fished with it I immediately just placed it down and went to a different reel. Just curious if any one has had bad experience with them ? I am mostly a backyard fisherman I go when I can and whatever is I keep depending on the pond is either tossed or kept. Like most of you guys I work hard for my money I dont sit at home on the couch cashing in on unemployment.

I liked my Super Duty G enough that I bought a second.

I rarely cast more than 3/8 oz with mine, and they'll cast 1/8 with very good distance and wind control.  I always upgrade my spool bearings.

Lew's Customer Service is great on the phone, and any small parts I've needed, they always sent out gratis.

From chatting with the guy at Lew's service, he seems as fond of the LFS Super Duty as I am.

They don't get many complaints.  I would definitely call them and see what they say.

They warrantied two rods for me (and I wasn't at all sure they even would one of them because it was honestly my fault that it broke).

Very painless process once we got communication started at the height of COVID. They even gave me a free upgrade on one because the only comp they had in stock was a different, slightly more expensive product line.

I'm a big fan.

Haven’t used their customer service yet but just picked up a Super Duty LFS and Hypermag. Crazy distance and very pleased thus far. These are running alongside a fleet of four 2016 Met MGL’s and a lone 2020 Met MGL and so far keeping up nicely.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Lew’s customer service. I have ordered parts, spare spinning reel spools and even the little badge that fell off my baitcaster. Nothing but friendly helpful service by phone and email.

I ordered parts one time for a reel that had saltwater corrosion. I received a call from a manager there asking me about why I needed those parts. He offered to replace the reel with a more expensive saltwater rated reel and no charge. I was , and remain impressed by the entire interaction.
