Personally, I prefer going with a mono leader. I would usually go heavy braid to 15 or 17lb mono. That way you get some stretch to help hold those trebles in place and not tear them out. Flouro just doesn’t have the stretch that I want.

    I do 40lb braid with 16lb flouro

    Large swim baits, glide baits and the such get thrown on 20, 25 or 30 lb BG.
