Last time was a horrible skunk.

been two weeks since then. Today, I woke up naturally early.  I hear my wife mumble (half asleep), “the bass are not gonna catch themselves.   Zzzzz”

haha, it’s my fishing mantra.  Why not?!  Jumped out of bed, and loaded up.  Had to come home real quick….gas station coffee. Ahem.

good luck today people. Let’s go!  Fish won’t catch themselves!

Today is my only day off this week. I was out on my kayak by 5:15 am. I should have stayed in bed and slept.

Good luck Darth.

I never worry about getting skunked.  If I fish hard and make what I feel are good decisions and get skunked- oh well.  I worry about my truck and boat.  Having something break or having something go wrong with the boat or truck is much worse IMO than not catching any fish.  lol- I am speaking from experience on this one.

i am going to the fargo n.d air show today, the blue angels are here.

All next week in east central minn and nd look hot again so i will go out next week in the late afternoon into the evening just to get out into nature away from tv and radios.

Plus my hands dont smell like bass and i miss that so i need to get out and get them stinky.

Good luck, hope you whack a DD today

Tough!   I got three. Drop shot only.  The small shad replica fooled a few. Lucky.

Better than what my buddy caught. He got the ole stinky skunk and had to watch me reel in 8.
