What would you recommend for a boat trailer jack for a boat trailer with only two tires? 

I’ve always liked Fulton jacks. Never had any issues.

Trailer on the newly acquired boat may be old, but the Fulton on the front still performs great.

Yes

Just need to have the model that's designed to cope with the tonnage.  The web site has units that are right for various applications.

I think the OP is talking about a tire changing jack.  A scissor jack with a long handle is the smallest and lightest to carry and they get very low if needed.

I've been carrying this jack for many years. Very easy to use.
