Anyone use this line? Looks like decent line and is only .12mm which is smaller than SOS 2lb. Really liking my switch back to mono, especially on smaller reels like my President 20x.

I'm a big fan of Ande Tournament. It's IGFA certified, so it will be at the low end of diameter for it's lb test rating. 10 lb is the lightest I've used, so I can't comment on 2 lb test, other than make sure your drag is set right. 

I like this line and as Deleted Account mentioned its certification will make it break at said line weight. I think the lowest I’ve gone is 12 or 14, but if things were to correspond 2 lb out to be good. If you decide to use it, report back. ?

I might go for the 4lb. The 4lb is like .015mm larger than the 2lb I'm using. That might be worth, if I don't lose the casting distance.

What are you going to use the 2 lbs line for. I use alot of 4 lbs line, but I only have two reels spooled up with 2 lbs test. 

I really have to watch my line for any scratches or abrasion with 2 lbs test.  2 lbs line can quickly become 1 lbs or less very quick.

Even with 4 lbs line, I find myself retieing often. I usually check my knot after every bass.

I've been enjoying some UL fishing. Specifically jigs and soft plastics from Mule Fishing. 1/64oz jigs and like 1 inch plastics.

I caught a 4lb bass on 2lb stren mono.  Heck of a fight.  Only recommended for venues that don't have a lot of things that you might get hung up on, e.g., man-made lakes designed for housing developments.

My uncle (and instructor) uses Ande on his spinning rods.  A few springs ago I netted a 6.5lb bass for him while he fished a rogue on 6lb Ande.  Made me a believer.

Ande Premium is very similar to Berkley BG, never had a problem with either for fresh and salt.

Thanks.  These days, the taxidermist doesn't even need the fish.  Just a picture!  High tech marches on...

Yeah man Im not sure what to think about that.  I'm about to start adding fish to the trophy room and I told myself I was going to do skin mount only.  I have seen a lot of fiberglass replica's that seem so generic and nothing like the photo's with regard to markings and fins.  Its like you just give them the measurements and they grab the closest thing from a pile of pre-made's and say..."here's you fish".   I'm sure its all in who you choose to go with, but I am leaning toward skin mounts.   Just one man's sole opinion.    Sorry didn't mean to get off topic.
