For spinning reels , what is your favorite handling FC or Co-Poly line in #6 lb. to #8 lb. line size ? ... I currently run braid mainline + FC or Co-Poly leader because it handles so well and was considering FC or Co-Poly as a main line instead for shaky head , small swim baits , grubs , etc.

When I run co-poly, it's hands down Berkley Trilene sensation.

Too many downfalls to fc, and the lie that it's not visible in water is just that.

Invisx. With all the rage of tatsu (which I do like), I call it tatsu’s lil brother.  6# invisx is my go to line for Dshot and it’s suppleness makes for good manageability.

I fished nothing but Seaguar fluorocarbon 20+ years.  I have four spools loaded with Tatsu, a couple with Kureha R18.

The best-handling fluorocarbon 8-lbs and under on a spinning reel is Toray ExThread.

I use Maxima Ultra Green 5# /.008D Copolymer line and Sunline Sniper 7# /.009 FC line. Both straight without a leader.

5# Max UG has stronger knot strength then 7# FC and cast better. I only use FC for bottom contact jigs otherwise UG is go to finesse spinning liner or slip-split shot, drop shot etc.
