Quality Pliers

Featured Replies

I used to use WD40 on my HO slotcar track back in the day. Kept the rails working good and put a nice shine on the plastic track. Now i just use it for keyed locks.

  • I got the 7" Split-ring nose Kast King Intimidator pliers for $20 from Amazon last spring. They've done good by me. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L2VBC7W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?

  • I think it works a little better...the split-ring tip grabs the hook more securely IMO, making it a little easier to work the hook loose from the fish.

  • Whether 3 in 1 oil or WD40, I think the preferred method is to treat AFTER fishing, and wipe down the next day, or at least before the next trip.
