No weed areas ?  No cycle of water life. Watery deserts are not productive.

I am impossible to please.  20 years ago.

Too many thick weedy areas !!

We have many reservoirs completely void of any vegetation, and The fish are healthy. We caught lots of smallmouth in just such a lake Saturday

Montreal Canada had a winter kill of a large pond near town. Thousands of fish dead.

I am now wondering if MY BAY also had a winter kill last winter. The sneaky way mother nature can conceal it. Is by the large drop in water levels. By the main dam controlled by the electric power company. Low levels. Covering snows stop oxygen production. Water currents with the main river could carry away the fish bodies as they die. No big deal in the St. Lawrence river all winter with no water attention.

It is always something.
