Well, just when I thought the collection was complete, I realized I might need an A-Rig/ big swimbait rod and reel. So can you guys let me know some r

rods and reels that work for this? I have never thrown a big swimbait or A-rig before so have no info hardly at all. 

 

Also, I cant really give a budget as I don't know what's reasonable 

When you say "Big" swimbait, just how big are we talkin bout here ?

Lets say your going to toss up to a 6" bait, i.e Huddelston 68, which weighs from 2 to about 2 1/2 ozs. A rod with a rating of 1 to 4 ozs. would be good for that.

If you intend on tossing 8" baits, i.e. like a Huddelston, then you would need a heavier power rod.

I own both of these rods that I'm going to recommend, price is $ 149.99. The reviews on them speak for them selves.

I don’t throw big swim baits but I do Arigs.  I use three baits and several blades.  I’ve tried a few reels and have settled on 5-1 ratios.  The faster gears are harder to to crank and wear me slick in a few hours.  The rods that I have are 7-7.5’ with lots of backbone.

For a "budget" setup I don't think you can get better than the Dobyns Fury 795 or 805 swimbait rod and a Lew's super duty wide spool. It's what my son uses and they handle everything you want to do perfectly.

If you look around you can get this combo for a little over $200 new (eBay and for sale forum sections).

I have this same 1-4 oz a-rig rod and 100% would buy it again. 

 

The IROD Gen 3, 8’ Heavy w/Shimano Cardiff 300 series and Sunline  Defier Armillo 25 lb is a excellent dudget Swimbait/A-Rig combo for Swimbaits, Glides and wakes from 2 to 7 oz.

I have a Yumbrella Flash Mob Jr and I use a Shimano SLX 7'2 H/F and it throws it just fine. It feels good and handles the weight well. I bought the combo from American LF for a really good price. I got the SLX XT reel and the rod mentioned for $145 shipped to the door. 

I use a Shimano Intenza 7'8 XH and a Shimano Cardiff

That's good to know, I have the same rod for frogging that I was considering using to get my toes wet with A-rigs.

That's what I originally bought it for, was frogging, but its done well for the A Rig and thrown some bigger heavier jigs with it too.
