Hopefully this is the beginning of some good fishing.

Jordan just moved into fourth with this 5.15

 

Now a 6-12

Lee moved to 2nd with this 6lber

Thrift added another 3 lber

Thrift is due

I wish they would have started at 10 am so they could fish later into the afternoon.

Yea I figured the bite would pick up this afternoon. Absolute hammers being caught right now. I am shocked though at some of the names with 0 so far.

Wood and chatterbait are my worst nightmare. One reason I won't fish chatterbaits, because my home lake has so much wood and I get hung up a lot! Water color for them today is great for a chatter, but I'm not sure it's the right pick. Obviously the guys winning are doing so on flippin.

HAHAH yeah... he just needs to get that first bite flipping to get the confidence. But I'm surprised he isn't doing that good today. However, thinking to all the tourney's he's won, they haven't been usually the flipping kind of deal. He loves that forward facing setup, and that thing probably isn't as useful on todays lake.

This is the first bass tournament I've ever watched...  is it normal for Bradley Roy to pull up on Brian Thrift like he has?  I feel like Thrift was in that area first and Bradley should have moved on instead of pulling into the same daggum pond.

Funny. This is the first tournament I've ever watched too. Saw this thread and figured I'd look it up online.
