Abraham Lincoln - History Channel

I just finished watching it. I don't know if any of you have watched this yet, but if you like history, it is an amazing show. It is a three part series and it is pretty long, but there are no boring parts. I learned so many things that I didn't know before I watched. The History channel always does a good job, but this one they knocked out of the park.

Funny you mentioned this.

I recorded the specials they had on Washington, Lincoln and Grant.
I just finished the one on Washington which was really good.
Gonna start to watch Lincoln tonight.

You’re right, History Channel does do a great job They get into the little known things that most people never knew.

Agree...It is one of the best documentaries I have ever watched. To think about what he went through in his life is just remarkable.

Is this the show where he hunts vampires?

There were no vampires in this one, pretty historical in my opinion.

He got shot and died

You kidding me? The spoiler alert for me was that after he graduated law school he rented a room with another man and they slept in the same bed for 4 years. I never knew that (amongst a bunch of other things).

But, for those who aren't interested, I completely understand. Some people seek education, some people think they are educated.

That's pretty wild... Especially during a time when that would be considered EXTREMELY taboo.
