I only use a T-rig. I have only fished a wacky rig a few times. Never had any luck with it.

If you have a power fishing mentality, then you may grow impatient with wacky...... it's slow fall rate unless you go with a jig weight.

 

I'd classify it it as a finesse technique otherwise.

I use both in certain times. Over the summer I’ll use T-Rig with tubes and ribbon tail worms. I’ve had great success on wacky rig with senkos. I’ve caught some monsters on wacky rig with senkos. I don’t know why people can’t catch bass on wacky rig ?
