Crestliner Dealer- North East

Featured Replies

Sup guys,  I am researching new boats for next season. I live near Springfield mass and was looking to buy a Ranger RT178 from Cabelas, but it’s too big for my garage. My only other option that I could afford that will fit in my garage is a Tracker Pro 170 from Cabelas. I’d really like to not buy a Tracker for many reasons.

Looking to buy 1700 Ridge

I’m looking into Crestliners, but can’t find a large dealer around to buy from. I’m also worried about having to bring the boat back to the dealer if there’s any issues with the boat. I don’t want to drive two far if that were to happen.

I’ve searched around for Crestliner dealers and everyone up here focuses on pontoon boats. Looking for a reputable Crestliner dealer in the NorthEast. If anyone has had anyone they have used in the New England area that would be great.

Cheers,

Nick

At least you checked ahead of time.  I'm sure plenty of boat buyers made the mistake of buying a boat before they checked the size of their garage, only to find out it didn't fit.

Ya it was quite the bummer, about a foot short. I don’t really want to angle it in there.

If that ain’t the truth. I must have measured my garage 3 times and the boat even more before I bought it.

Did you check on a swing tongue trailer? The other option is putting the boat in the garage at a angle, takes up more room but it will fit into 19’.

I will have to measure the width of garage to the boat width. I wanted to fit more in my garage than just the boat lol. Says 21.5 feet with swing tongue. Also looking to put a 75 hp so it might be longer than what’s listed below  5870D3B7-3E5F-47B0-B51F-111440A904EB.thumb.png.39bc394a81dafd9e31c24a997333719b.png

I had to do both with my boat but the advantages of having the boat inside outweigh the effort.

Why the jack (setback) plate?

My 2005 Triton TR175, 17’6” bass boat w/115 Optimax and swing tongue trailer fit straight back in the 19’6” garage door down.

Excellent boat by the way, stored 8’ swimbait rods and 15 other combos.
