I’m catching, but I’m working for them.  Like I’m casting for Muskie.  10,000 casts.

admittedly, fuel prices will temper my spring madness a bit and I won’t fish quite as often or stay closer to home. (Smaller fish).

this was a slow March for me.  Low numbers.  You all doing better?  I might need to hit the delta less, and Clearlake more simply because the drive is shorter.

or carpool with buds. :)  I’m not going on my friends bass boat very often this year.  $$

I think it’s pretty much a typical early spring @Darth-Baiter, even though I normally get a little impatient with the drought heightened stretch of good weather we’ve been enjoying. I experienced a good bite last week up at Clear Lake, the delta is starting to turn on as should area lakes. It’s just a matter of more spending time on the water. Good fishing

Tell your buddy with the boat to fish closer to the boat ramp haha

I've only done local bank fishing still and it's actually been good for me. But we're talking four fish. It's still better than the zeros I've had the three years prior by this time of year.

But by Bay Area I mean south bay.

Went out on the 13th with a buddy of mine to the Delta.  Struggled in the morning on the outgoing tide…afternoon bite on the incoming tide was pretty good.  Largest fish was just over 4.
