Considering a mod-v jon boat

Featured Replies

Currently have an 18 foot hydrasports with a 115 Evinrude, but I honestly don't use it much since I got my kayaks.

Recently, I've been thinking...since I don't need a big bass boat anymore, how about selling it and buying like a 16 foot jon boat with a small 4-stroker.

Looking for suggestions on reputable names for an all-welded hull.

Just kinda doing some prelim looking.

That's exactly why I asked....never thought about xpress.  I looked at Alweld, tracker, etc

Thanks for the link

i have a tracker grizzly. it does fine but if i were to buy a new one xpress would be at the top of the list.

I have a 17' War Eagle with a 4 stroke 40HP Suzuki. It is a tough boat and very similar to the Xpress. I had looked at both and would recommend either War Eagle or Xpress.

Now that gas has passed $4.00 a gallon that thrifty Suzuki is looking better all the time. Sometimes smaller is better.
