Guys I want to buy life jacket and there is different standards, Type 1, 2, 3, Or full jacket or the lighter and smaller ones. I want to buy the one right for every lake, Would you please to help? Some said in Lake Isabella you need to have the full cover one, Is it true? How about Castaic and casitas?

Do not know California law and would not have expected different lakes to have different requirements for a PFD. I prefer the full vest. Which ever one you choose "JUST USE IT"

 

When you say full cover, do you mean the vest type?

I got this one about a year ago, seems to be working good for me.

I wish I would have bought  a mustang with the hydrostatic

( hit)  that goes off from water pressure rather just getting wet. I like to fish in the rain. So I end up storing it away when it starts raining. Try and get the higher rating, it designed to roll most people over if unconscious

Type II

In California, they don't specify a type, so long as it is USCG approved.  You also need a Type IV (throwable PFD) in any boat 16 feet or longer.  They do have a law about the PFD being the correct "type and size" for the conditions and activity.  

 

What you want is a Type III.  That's what most people on a lake will have, as they're generally a good balance between comfort and effectiveness.  Either one of the two you have linked would work.

this 33 grams comes in airplane life jackets as well. And I am selling this life jackets and my inventory is 1000 plus. So I am guaranty for life, Haha... It is a first time that I am so happy because I can have something free that use for fishing.

So I am thinking better I remove the tanks and sell them on amazon as re-arming for life jacket and I might sell them faster and make money to buy my boat out of it.
