I prefer clear line Clumbsy. I don’t know if it’s a big deal or not, but In my head it is.

Just go with clear for Bass Large and small mouth, somehow if you go after striper, some swears by red line.

I catch thousands of pounds every season, mostly using 60 lb Ande leader, usually clear, but green and pink sometimes, striped bass don't care. They are literally the dumbest thing that swims.

That and a little paint is what most vaunted surf plugs are made from. The market wants mid sized fish, but 18" or 30 lbs, we get to the weight every day. NJ has been on fire, and there is a slug of big fish moving up the VA/MD coast

long island sound and the coastal river systems have been decent with bigger fish moving in. we're right behind you
