Hello Everyone,

Recently purchased (from Digitaka for cheap) an Antares DC and Metanium HG. To go with the reels I also purchased a GLoomis MBR GLX 844c and Megabass Destroyer P5 6'9" Super Destroyer . Both are going to be the all around work horse setups. Which rod would you pair with what reel? I'm thinking Antares dc on Gloomis and Met on P5? 

I would put the Antares on the Super Destroyer and the Metanium on the 844C.  

I have my Antares on my gloomis, so I suggest the same.

Two rods, two reels? Here's a crazy idea, try it both ways and see which YOU like better?

 

844 will probably be a further casting rod because it's 7' vs the SD.  Throw the DC reel on the 844 for that reason.
