Ordering a Loomis Rod from the USA to Canada

Featured Replies

So I am in Ontario Canada and I am looking to upgrade my 2015 model E6X to an IMX Pro MBR903C.

I found one locally that can ship but when the tackle store was packing it up they noticed a guide ring was missing.

They are trying to find me one but may end up refunding me the cash instead.

Has anyone ordered from the two big online USA websites? (AL or Fish USA?)

I have ordered from AL but it was a 3 piece travel rod so it was easy to ship in its tube. I know I would be paying duty, I don't care.

I have checked a few other stores, no one has the IMX Pro in stock.

thanks

I have bought all of my G Loomis rods from Am. Leg. and they are excellent.  They come in a heavy tube and are attached on the inside to prevent any movement.  On their website, click on the newsletter tab on the right side of the page (small green tab) and sign up to get 10% off or just call direct and ask for the 10%.  They are super easy to work with.

Same here, they are very good. Also I used another website you mentioned and it was pleasant experience as well.

Thanks Guys I got a refund from the original order (with the damaged IMX Pro) and ordered the model i was looking for off AL. Tough to find certain rods these days, covid really messed up production in some lines because of component issues.

I can't wait to fish the IMX Pro. it will be paired with my still in awesome condition curado 200i PG.
