Anyone have experience with the deeper fish finder? The start specifically, its their cheapest, wondering how it is

Yeah, one is world renowned electronic company and the other has been around since 2013 and has been  "influenced" into the public consciousness.

I have a 5 year old deeper pro. The transducer and software is actually pretty good.

I have the Deeper Pro. It does what it is supposed to do, and importantly the create your own map feature is A+. Even lets you view the maps online.

One thing i have always wondered with those castable fish finders is what if it gets disconnected for any reason? Like the line snaps or the knot fails, what happens then??
