New Jig Purchase!

Featured Replies

I can't seem to stop buying jigs and just wanted to share an experience. I have been buying 6th Sense Divine, Beast Coast Tungsten, Dirty Jigs SC Compacts. Today I received my package from North Star baits as I orded 8 of the Black Series and 6 Black Football. I am super impressed with the quality out of the package! Wire ties look fantastic, the skirts are top notch quality and the heads look fantastic. I can't wait to get these wet & fish em'!!!   P.S. I've tried to attach pics but it keeps saying File too Big

This is defined as “Gettin’ jiggy with it”

Enjoy football season out there!! I’ll have to check out those North Stars

Looks like you haven’t tried the site sponsor Siebert Outdoors?

NorthStar was a site sponsor years ago.

NorthStar does not identify the hook brand used, essential jig component.

Tom

If you love jigs, you should try assembling your own.  Just pick up some of your favorite heads, skirt material from fishingskirts.com, and some 4" zip ties for collars, and you are all set.  Fun, easy, and addictive.

I know they are a sponsor, ive seen them mentioned many many times and I respect that. I know North Star was bought by somebody else i read somewhere. I'm sure I will try Seiberts someday. To each there own. Just simply sharing my impression.

I think Tom was just suggesting that you would really like the Siebert jigs.

I saw all the reviews on them too so I recently made my first order of some of their Brush jigs and Shot Caller swim jigs ( Fogys too) and was very impressed with the quality, and at less than $5 each for jigs with wire tied skirts... Price is comparable or cheaper than most.

If you do try them. I suggest paying the extra 30 cents for the wired tied skirts!

Thanks, yeah I would definitely pay the extra. Currently have some older jigs with weak bands.
