“Forgotten” Assistance/Input/Advice Already Given…

Featured Replies

This has happened  about three times to me in the past few months. This usually happens with older threads. Here’s the scenario:

You come across a topic and you make a post, sharing your thoughts and input.

Enough time passes by and so this “old thread” looks new (and yes I do look at the date stamp sometimes lol) thread and so you start the process of adding a post. Then for me, I come to realize that gosh almighty, I already posted in this thread — and interestingly enough, my “new” thread is nearly identical previous one. ?

Has this happened to anyone else, or is this a sign that the gloom of winter that some of us suffer is upon us. Sheesh!!! ??

With my memory..............LOL?  I avoid this by checking to see if there is a star to the left of the heading indicating that I've responded to the thread already.

Papajoe,

I’ve been here for a long time now and never noticed the star, let alone it’s significance. Thanks.

The challenge now might be to look for the star in a thread before posting or forgetting what it means, ? lol

I think I did it before and gave opposite opinions!!  :D

give me a week and I'll chime back in on this thread and say, "me? NEVER!".

I'll be reading the responses and not looking at the profile pic, and I'll think that is what happens to me.  Then I look at the profile and realize that I wrote it.
