Daiwa Tatula SV TW vs Daiwa Tatula Elite vs Daiwa Tatula Special Addition

Featured Replies

I have been on Daiwa's website and compared the 3.  I cant tell the difference.  I think the SV TW is set up to cast lighter baits.  If so why and what are the differences.

Svtw: sv spool, good for skipping and light lures.

Elite: tuned for medium to heavy lures and long casts.

Limited: svtw with carbon fiber handle & silver paint.

Ok so SV spool on Limited Edition and SV TW.

The Elite is a Tatula 100 with a deep spool and aluminum side plate (vs graphite)

Im assuming the only difference in the Tatula Elite and the Coastal SV Tw is the SV spool on the Coastal?

Wonder if gears for elite would fit coastal. Would love to make one of my coastals a 6.3:1

They should fit.  Same tatula platform.  If it's the coastal 200 then you'll need gears for the 150 or 200 tatula.

I guess the tat 80 and coastal 80 can swap spools.  The coastal 80 with aluminum sideplate is getting a look from me.

CT SV TW - all-round reels, made for casting bfs-friendly (3g) up to power fishinf lures (around 10g).

Tatula Special Edition - just minor comestic changes.

Tatula elite: Tatula 100 with all-metal frame and tuned for long casting.
