Once you use intergalactic shipping, it’s hard to use anything else.

At the current exchange rate, anyone in the $200 reel market who doesn't score a JDM Zillion is nuts.

Really? He posted the link at 7:38 am on Wednesday morning, which was 9:38 pm Wednesday night in Japan.

Then you paid intergalactic shipping costs, received it and the MGL when you were capped at spending $200 in your thread starter, then did a casting battle on a reservoir in near freezing temps with high winds sometime the very next day on Thursday all before darkness fell at 5pm? Was it sent by rocket? Particle beam transporter? Uh huh...

Right.

Is that you, Jeffrey?

I actually had decent 50's that day. The shipping prices in Japan were crazy, so I used regular Amazon. I lost my train of thought when I was going to mention that. I had a 200 dollar cap for EACH baitcaster. I coughed up the extra 100 from my hunting fund. If you don't believe me, I can send you a picture of both, ore a video of me casting them.

So I have a serious question.

When testing them, which rod did you use?  Or did you have them on different rods?  If so, what rod did each reel go on?

I know this will probably make one function better but I put the mgl on a 7 mh Fury with 15lb flouro, and the Zillion on a heavy 7 foot aird x and 40 lb powerpro.

Ah ok.  So to be fair, now put the Zillion on the MH Fury and the MGL on the Aird X and test them again.

I have no dog in this fight, but to make a fair comparison between reels, all other variables (rod, line, lure) should be the same.

I know, but those are the purposes I'm using them for. I got the high speed Zillion and a normal curado. I do a lot more power fishing, so the Zillion is going to take the brunt of my fishing trips.
