  1. So many of the baits I purchase say that they may cause cancer and reproductive harm. I'm not paranoid, but sometimes I do wonder if biting my trailers in half and always touching lead will get to me someday. Do you find it concerning sometimes?
  2. How about bowfin? They turn my spinnerbaits into paperclips.
  3. I also would like to see the green pumpkin flamethrower color offered in the BBB Kamikaze Swimon. It goes great with bluegill chatterbaits.
  4. That natural gill color the Spunk Shad has. Imagine that on a Zako or a Rage Menace.
  5. Thank you all, I was worried about the hookup ratio with those beefy hooks. But I guess that's not an issue.
  6. What are some frogs with that I can fish on a MH rod through pads? When I go pond fishing I only carry a Fury 704c with 40lb 832, and I want to try a frog in there. I'm thinking PPC junior.
  7. The pressure is why things like BFS are getting more popular. I'm excited to see how the industry will change. Necessity is the mother of invention.
  8. Working frogs and buzzbaits through and around heavy pads. Anything power fishing.
  9. I was able to do it, you have to bend the wire a little bit to get it through and then close it up, I seriously scratched up the blade but it is still a fish catcher.
  10. I'm sorry, I was trying to attach a picture of this wacky looking squarebill jig. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/G-Ratt_Baits_Fighting_Fish_Hybrid_Swim_Jigs/descpage-GRZF.html I don't believe it attached.
  11. The bill would come through wood unlike any other jig.
  12. Menace is good for cold water but when I want a larger belly profile like a bluegill and some roll a 4" largo shad is really good.
  13. At least no one ran into crazy animal rights activists.
  14. Senko, finesse swim jig, and a compact spinnerbait like an SV-3.
  15. Zman MiniMax with a 3.5 inch spunk shad. Smaller trailers are usually the ticket for me.
  16. Anyone try this bait? I heard Tacticalbassin touting it and I think I saw it in the Latest Tackle Purchase Thread. I like the shape of the bill, the colors, and the stock hooks. I thought I would ask your thoughts before I pulled the trigger.
  17. I live in NJ, but I also fish a NY lake with a lot of wood, and other heavy cover. I also have to worry about bowfin some places where I fish.
  18. That's why I had this question. The largo shad was probably what I was going to get, but I was just seeing what people on the forums thought.
  19. I've been looking at this jig in 1/4 oz for a while now. Can I fish this on a medium heavy/fast rod with a 40 lb 832 and a 15 lb flourocarbon leader without having to worry about bending out the hook? What are some good trailers? How does this jig do in cover?
  20. I use the SB like a spook but for choppy water. It casts like a dream in wind too. It also almost walks in place, so I can keep it in the strike zone longer.
  21. When would I fish one over the other? For the jighead I am going to use an easy shiner, for the swim jig an SI fat.
  22. Just wondering, do you put an owner teardrop split ring on it, or is the action fine without?
  23. I was thinking of that but I would like a walking bait to fish when there is no chop on the water. The SB seems a little too aggressive for thise conditions. Standard Dog-X, Giant Dog X, or Dog X Diamante?
  24. What are some of the best walk the dog baits you would use in clear water, with no chop? I'm thinking about the Evergreen JT, Giant Dog X, a clear Super Spook Jr, and a Sammy. Larger baits like the Vixen and Diamante seem too large and loud for clear water smallies and largemouth around where I fish.
