Colors for Rapala DT-4

Featured Replies

I’ve mainly used Bandit crankbaits for bass and been successful. I’m wanting to try Rapala DT-4 crankbaits. What specific colors do you recommend for these?

Baby bass

One ive have very good results with is Old School.

Close to what ever the predominate forage in your lake is.

For me, it's a toss-up between HD Live Bluegill, HD Live Pumpkinseed, or Perch.

In the dt or OG series, I carry the same sets for the clear in waters we fish. For me that means:

Bluegill, live River shad, pearl grey/penguin, demon, old school, and Helsinki shad.

that is a set of options that catch fish year round in most anywhere I fish. It includes dirt water and clear water, shad and other forage, etc.

I love Caribean Shad in any Rapala I throw that it is a available color in.

I like Chartreuse Rootbeer Crawdad, Demon and Old School for dirtier water. Bluegill and Perch for clear water. But my favorite color is probably Mule. I fish it in stained and clear water.

Whatever they make that's similar or close to the color(s) you do well with the Bandits? Maybe?....
