Got this in a door prize package and since apparently no one wants the whole lot for $35 I’m stuck with this thing.
Anyone thrown one or had any luck? Where and when would you throw this ugly thing?

My buddy uses a white one for bed fishing…I’d imagine you could use it for that as well

Is that the weedless one with the jig hook hidden inside? That’s a fish catching machine. Fish it in, and I mean in, cover and grass. I fish them on braid. Sometimes hanging 1/8 oz from their chin helps keep them nose-down on retrieves. Those are like underwater frog fishing, think of it that way.

I feel ya. I recently included a firetiger 68 in a hudd order for some dumb muddy river pike and possibly a few bass mudholes, but after starring at it for a few weeks, I decided to give it to my brother. All his options are dirty waters, so he'll definitely get more use out of it.

Don’t think the color is horrible looks a lot like the Coach Dog color that works very good anywhere crappie are located for bass prey.

The only issue I had using Hudd weedless Gil was getting a high % hook set. I added a nose top treble hook on a 1” leader attached with a snap to the Hudd hook eye and solved the problem.

PS, PM email for photo.

The treble on a short leader attached to the hook eye works on flukes too.
