While I agree completely I know a lot of folks who have changed over to a Blackstone griddle and love em. To each his, or her, own.

    The runny part is what adds the fat to the burger in place of like mayo for example and adds richness.  I have had them fried hard too and they are good as well on a burger. And as far as cooking

My kids are both into the Blackstones and Treager Smokers. I have to have a gas grill because there are certain things I don’t want done other ways. And convenience can’t be beat. But my cheap barrel Char-Griller/Smoker is flat out cooking fun and my favorite way to season up bone in chicken and do it up.
