Hello everyone,

While the love for the Megastrike cavitron buzzbait in this forum is well documented, they are reported as out of stock everywhere (black of course).

I'd never heard of these buzzbaits, so just checked out their website.  It shows black are available for purchase... US orders only. ☹️

Moab when you need something big/loud.

Thank you everyone for your responses, I placed orders for:

Damiki MTB Noisy Buzzbait.

Accent ‘Jacob Wheeler’ buzzbait

Boogerman Buzzbait

Crock-O-Gator and toads

I was planning on going for the top two, but you guys know how this works. I'm still thinking about the Jamaica Boa, I really like megabass stuff but they just seem big for waters around me and for sure will be picked up by pike right away. I'll get one next time in mexico.

This has been a very interesting read. again thank you.

The next best thing if you can’t talk to him personally  ? He called me for input into its design based on a local custom buzzer my buddy and I used and had shown to him back when the three of us all fished together.

ok yes you are bias.. I ordered one anyway

The Accent Jacob Wheeler Finesse and the Crock-O-Gator are my second and third favorite buzzbaits. The Jamacia Boa is an interesting design and I've used it with some luck, but I honestly prefer a smaller profile buzzbait, so I would rank it fourth on my list.

I'm so dumb I didn't read you message correctly, I should have picked the finesse version as I bought the standard size

I'm a D&M fan also but I like the Buzz Saw. It's an in-line buzzer with a free-swinging EWG hook that I can rig my trailer weedless.

I use a Do-It mold and bend the wire similar to the Cavitron . The blade and rivet are tuned squeaky loud before assembly . No breaking in needed.

Few holes in the blade and you got the closes to a cavitron I seen. It's a great looking buzzbait

I really admire the dedication of you guys who make your own baits. The closest I get to it is browse trough tackle warehouse for more junk to buy.

I'm not trying to copy Cavitron, I dont need no stinking holes. LOL

Once I was buzzbaiting at night and kept getting hits but missing them . I got the bright idea to bend the wires so the bait would ride a little deeper. I started catching them . Now I do it to all my buzzers.
