I see people servicing the ATMs regularly, do people think there's like a pipeline that spits out money? How else do they think the money gets there? If you watch Aladdin even Robin Williams couldn't just make money *appear*

I get that at least once a week people commenting they always wondered how money got in the atm. Then they ask why I take it out just to put it back in. We usually unless it’s a “cash add” take out X amount and put in a set amount. Usually more around the 1st of the month. It prints a receipt that says so much was taken out this was how much it charged in surcharges and this is how much is left. When you bring back better match what it says it should. A few have been busted since I’ve been working there skimming a little off when servicing them.

To illustrate the entire point of this thread.  And bring it closer to home.

There's a concept that is above the head's of people who depend on a paycheck for "doing something", and it's called If It's Not Broke, Don't Fix it!

If 9/10 customers of yours hate a change you made, from a business perspective it would be wise not to make those changes.

consumers vote with their money.  this won't even be a blip on TW sales, in my opinion.

people eventually adapt.

Yeah I agree customers will adapt, that's why BlockBusters, and CDs aren't around anymore.

Blockbuster will forever be the poster child for lack of foresight.  hahah..

just the other day, I told management, "hey, lets not be Blockbuster". hahah.

being "mag light flashlights" doesn't have the same ring.

I will admit, Tackle Warehouse lost me with their big credit card data breech that affected so many of their customers.  I used to buy from them and I wasn’t affected, but it spooked me away.

People will figure out the format when TW has something they want. The idea that it would cost them any measurable amount of business is funny considering the huge data breach seems to have been just a blip. I'm sometimes convinced that people are addicted to their own outrage. I don't really know why but it sure is annoying
