Warm window.

Featured Replies

One day over 60 last week and I had to try to catch a fish.  It rained heavily a couple of days before and the lake was red near the inlet rivers.  Several fish were right on the bank on points.  Ended with 4 with the largest 16" and smallest 13, all Alabamas.

What is your definition of a "spring chicken"?

Youngsters like you , Alex

I know some folks 20 years younger than you have quit fishing, said they were too old. And you’re still waiting on warm days in December and catching bass

I have had plenty of chicks born in the spring and if you've ever been around them, this you will know for sure. Just like us "experienced anglers" a spring chick can first of all, fall asleep before it gets to where it is going, and wake up and hurry to catch the rest having no idea why!
