Shine Glide 185 Tail Replacement?

Featured Replies

Third cast with this bait, the tail is gone. Can this be replaced? I can't find an obvious replacement. I guess this is why I should have bought the Chad shad

I would like to speak to the manager of Fishing

That may be a solution. I also emailed savage gear. We all know that glide baits helicopter when you cast em, I would hope that baitmakers would build that into their design

You can get generic tails to replace them from sites like backwateroutfitting.com

Also, abs baits helicopter but if you get resin ones they cast significantly better.

Didn't it come with a replacement? Every Shine Glide I've ever bought came with a spare and I've never needed one.

It did not. I was honestly shocked. The bait looks great in the water with a tail on. Made me real sad. But I got a couple nessie 9s to fish with in the meantime, those things look great in the water too. Just wish they had the profile like the shine glide
