What’s everyone’s using to share photos to the forum? I have a Flicker account but there’s been lots of changes and I don’t really care for it.

I don't - just keep them on my desktop and edit the size with Photoshop as needed. I don't trust online storage...

I have an app called Resize that downsizes the pic and then I post em.

If I'm posting direct from my phone or tablet - the resize feature is built into the camera app.

I’m an Apple fan boy. My iPhone and iPad let you resize photos before you post them.

^ Samsung here.

I used to use Photobucket when I was on a forum that would only accept photos from such, as I no longer post there I dropped the account. To me it’s simpler to direct post the photos from whatever device I’m using then delete them afterwards. I also use Resizer on the pc and Image Size on the ipad. I had no issues with Photobucket but it’s been a number of years since last used.

Is it native iOS letting you resize?  I use a third party app which is fine but I’d prefer to do it natively. Now, I have to create a second smaller version to upload which means twice as many pictures.

When you choose a photo to upload from your photo library, you click on options on the bottom left of the screen. From there you choose the size. Full, large medium or small. You can even choose to let it use the compatible format. Make sure your OS is up to date

What kind of phone do you have?

Samsung Galaxy A51 - the wife's Galaxy S23 can do the same thing

Mine is an older I phone . I don’t think it can do that. It’s easy enough to down size it by going to the app each time.

Its a lot easier than the way I used to put them in the br photo gallery.

On my I phone 13 I just go to the Share button below the response box in the post, click on photo library which will bring up all the pictures in the phone.

Click the picture I want to post, press the options on bottom left, adjust size if I need and hit add on top right.
As @Scott F posted.

That’s it

Don’t need an app or any outside source.

Mike

i dont use the internet on my phone, because my eyes won't allow it. i use a desktop with a 60" tv as a monitor.  when i post photos here or any other forum, they come from my imgur account.

it's very similar to photobucket,  only it doesn't make you insane
