Lipless crankbait hook question

So a couple years ago I replaced my treble hooks on my crankbaits with single hooks. Is it ok to do the same with lipless crankbaits? I'm not sure if it will be a disadvantage for that particular kind of lure if I remove the treble hooks. Thanks

    Shouldn’t be an issue and probably an improvement when throwing in grass and weeds.
