I made these about 15 years ago for a weedy lake. You can t-rig those grubs for a weedless presentation. They were bomb.com back when I fished them!

Have ever watch how a double blade spinnerbait runs through the water on the retrieve? The blade on a clevis wire can only rotate flooded back, can’t spin forward. The result is the spinner bait head and trailer is hanging down about 45 degrees from the upper wire inline with line pull. All you see when a spinnerbait is displayed is the head and trailer shown parallel to the surface with the wire arm and blades pointed up 45 degrees. In the displayed  position the forward blade on the clevis can’t rotate.
