Quantum 1310cp in 3.8:1

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever owned one of these reels and if so how was it? I like the 3.8 to 1 ratio.

Don't have the Quantum, but I have the shamano with the 3.8 to 1 gears.

Its great for slow rolling a spinnerbait, or what I like it best very slow cranking

Older style Quantum. Don't know about the bearing count or the longevity though I know Quantum made those 1310 style reels for quite some time.  These guys have got them new for $50.

Happy Holidays!

The 1310 is one of their older reels, reworked a little. Now you have 3 models all with different gear ratio's. The big problem over time with them is although they have an aluminum frame, the side plates are plastic still and they do warp.

Tight Lines!!

I have one,but I haven’t use it yet.I bought it as a vintage reel in a tackle store.Does some one has specs of this model?

I have two vintage 1310's. I still use them on old 7'6"heavy flipping sticks for catfish and carp.

I had one of each ratio back in the day.  Minimal bearing count.  It didn’t taken them long to feel like coffee grinders.
