Before Noon, are you supposed to fish the West shoreline/bank first because it's the first water to heat up/get warm? Or are you supposed to fish the East shoreline/bank first because there's more shadows there for the bass to hide in? 

 

After Noon, are you supposed to fish the West shoreline/bank last because there's more shadows there for the bass to hide in? Or are you supposed to fish the East shoreline/bank last because the water there is last to keep/sustain warm water? 

 

Im all confused because bass are generally attracted to warmer water. On the other hand, they also need shade/cover in order to hide from predators while also being a predator themselves. What gives? Any tips?

Not sure the bass I target have read the same books as me.

But I seem to do OK if I fish around the bass's food.

Wherever that might be.

If the foods there, the bass will be too, eventually.

Only in the cold months do I pay attention to east facing banks.

 But love shaded banks during afternoon sunlight in the clear water I fish.

 

 

All I know is the people that fish the shore line furthest away from the one I'm fishing catch all the bass.

1st determine what seasonal period the bass are in.

Next determine what depth the bait and bass are at.

Depth prey source and seasonal periods determine where the bass should located.

East or west shore line does affect sunlight but weather; clouds, wind, time of day and current are more factors.

Basically after 9 o’clock in the morning sunlight is equal on the water.

Shadows help to conceal bass and gives them an edge over prey so it is a factor to consider.
