a life without fishing is no life for me

  • Every Basshead's situation is different. In my world, my fishing time is super special and needs to be earned. And even then, I never really actually spend as much time on the water now as I

  • I fished a lot before my kiddos were born...and slowed down a little after they were on the ground.    What really slowed me down were, 1.) kids sports -- lots of weekends and weeknights goi

You can always fish but can’t always spend time with your family.

I am 80 and can still fish but  can’t spend time with my family except my wife and daughter, everyone else has passed away, parents on both side is expected at my age but 2 brothers and my son are gone.

Enjoy life don’t waste time it can’t be turned back.

This has been my issue.  I haven't fished out of my boat for 6 months or more.  I've been once in my kayak this summer.

My wife doesn't want to go to the lake  and is not interested in fishing at all.  My son is in college and isn't around much and doesn't really like fishing that much.  If I want to spend time with family, it won't be fishing.
