Buying tackle

Nope. I'm an unapologetic tackle junky. I buy one new Rod and Reel a year. The oldest set gets donated to one of the local high school fishing teams. Tackle for all five teams too.

I may not need it but I want it. :)

  • I stopped buying tackle and switched to the barter system instead. Today I traded 225 of my dollars for a new 9' XH Shimano Skixx muskie rod. 😉

I'm on and off the Bait Monkey wagon, faster than a rock star checks in and out of rehab.  One day I'm only going to replace a few baits I lost, and the next day I'm looking at custom glide baits.  Ri

Started giving away tackle to HS teams as a way to get rid of it. Figured in the past 4 years I have donated about $1200 worth of tackle to 5 different teams. Got a jersey, hoodie, and a hat from the different coaches of the teams.
