Billy Strings

Featured Replies

a bit crude in its subject matter maybe but a good song that even includes some fishing. Does anyone else in here listen to Billy Strings?

Top 10 guitarist that ever lived, and I don't care for his Greatful Dead style. Talent nonetheless. He's very fortunate his band members are also at the top of their game.

he’s extremely talented forsure, also very diverse. They put on one of the best live shows a person could imagine too 😅

I love his more traditional bluegrass tunes…

I actually like a lot of anything he does tbh

I went to see him in London last year. Amazing musician. His set was one of his more prog rocky ones, which I don't prefer to his more classic bluegrass style, but it was a virtuoso night. Saw Molly Tuttle too, who is also extraordinarily talented.

He's an amazing player, and as @slonezp alluded to, his entire band are aces. Some bluegrass traditionalists don't like it, but I love the way the guy refuses to be pigeonholed. He marches to his own beat, critics be damned.

Couldn't agree more, it’s amazing how “cool” and new  they can make songs that are 100+ years old, they are doing great things for bluegrass.

I think this is one of their better performances which showcases the entire bands talent
