Marabou wooly bugger jig

Been having a lot of fun tying these, this one’s an eighth of an ounce and should be killer for trout, creek smallies, and hopefully everything else. Does anyone else use or tie these? Maybe more of a trout lure traditionally but man I wish I had these for creek/river bass when I lived near the ozarks!

I've been tying wet fly patterns on jigs for years since I saw an article in Vermont fishing magazine from the late 80's.  They do work well with and without a float.

Very good looking jig, a fish catcher for sure.

I remember way back Lindy/Little Joe sold a similar jig, instead of marabou the tail was saddle hackles, it was called the Canadian jig fly.  Lots of walleye were caught on those around here,
