That 's worth a shot. It does work on a lot of things.  So far though all the Falcon rods in the various stores I've been, all scanned at the price tagged on the racks.

Well, I was at Wally World and couldn’t resist grabbing another EVO (and my last).  I’ve bought the following:

6’6” Med—Chronarch 200E6

6’8” M/H—Chronarch 200E7

7’0” M/H—Citica 200E

7’3” H—-Curado 200E7

Finally had a chance to check out my local Walmart to see if they had any of their evos ringing up on clearance. Unfortunately, this Walmart didn't have any, but they had the Evo Light spinning rod. So I had to pick one up.

Got the 7’ medium heavy EVO and an abu Garcia vendetta 6’ 9” today for 20 bucks each, brand new would’ve been almost 200. Any reel recommendations for the EVO? Thinking of a fuego ct to match the red on the vendetta

Persistence paid off! I checked my local Walmart a few more times and finally looked up on the combo side of the rod section. In the middle of the combos were two Evos. They were $32 and not $20 but I got them anyways. (The reel was not included )Screenshot_20250413_124652_Photos2.jpg.24c2cc6776ab9b49eaeb7ffc29f7bfb0.jpg

Unbelievable value for $32…..

I can't say on some products, but I do know there's some misinformation floating around about some products Walmart sales.  I've heard a number of small time gunshop owners and internet folks saying that the firearms that Walmart sells are seconds or inferior in some way.  That's a 100% load of crap.  Walmart has in the past had some special models made for them, but the standard Henry, Mossberg, Remington, etc. that Walmart sells is the same exact model being sold in gunshops for higher prices.

Back in the day we used to call them one off models "Mart guns" such as the Winchester Model 70 "Ranger". They used Birch instead of maple(I believe it was) on the stock and the finish was a cheaper process. Then that margin got to close to cost so they released the 670 without a floorplate cheapening it even more. Not just Walmart did this. Alot of the big box stores sold the econo models of things.

Can these be obtained online at clearance? None of the Walmarts anywhere near me have them

I don’t think so, I looked before and found nothing. I’m not sure what Walmart’s thought process is because only one falcon rod was on clearance there, I checked them at the store and at home and the falcon’s quality is top notch and has no blemishes. Got it for $20

Hoping this sale comes back.

I’m not sure of the overall policy but you can stop by the customer service desk and inquire about a rod/reel on line with a clearance price to ship to the store. I’ve inquired about having a reel shipped this way as they didn’t carry the reel in my local Walmart and although not clearance priced they were willing to do it. Unless the item clearly states unavailable to ship you may have luck that way.
