I think you’re chasing something that’s not there in any reliable amount. You e got to get further south into the canals around Naples. That said, there’s plenty of other fish around there in the canals.

I see posts on SWFL Fishing that they catch them in North Port.Β  Who knows?Β Β πŸ€”

Peas are slowly migrating further north in FL as they become less venerable to the cold. They are adapting. On the east coast Palm Beach County is the northern most area to catch numbers. You would increase your chances if you try further south.

I’ve only heard of them being caught further south towards Chokoloskee.Β 

Guys are into them in the canals in Cape Coral.Β
