  • I get that, but I think it’s not fair for the angler that’s way ahead of everyone, to start even again. It’s a matter of opinion. I find both entertaining.

Yeah I prefer it this way. Resetting just nullifies the work for the three previous days.

Looking at those payouts, it’s got to be a hard way to make a living. Finishing 11th in every tournament of the year could not pay the bills with all the travel expenses

Love to see that everyone figured out what the baits were he was throwing. I was extremely happy to see baits with a treble hook were the ones winning a tournament for once.

I had heard the crankbait was a prototype that he was helping develop. From what I saw of the bait during the live coverage, it looked like Megabass was creating their version of a Rapala DT for Brandon. Either way, looks like they've got a winner in their hands.

So Megabass said it was their Big-M crankbait on Instagram yesterday but that’s them trying to capitalize on the moment and I think the bait was actually their IPX12 that is releasing later this year. This definitely wasn’t a Big-M —

I was going off the second 9 he caught which was on the Big M. Looking back it seems like he caught his 3 big fish that day on 3 different baits. Can't decide if that's more or less impressive than finding a single bait they want.

Yea, he crushed ‘em throwing the kitchen sink at them!

When they're biting, they're biting.

I don’t disagree but remember where he was fishing.  Not your normal Okeechobee water.  More like a river or canal.  That being said, he obviously figured out what they wanted. 😜

Here’s a close up of the prototype crankbait.

I'm pretty sure they were up in the Kissimmee River at the dam/lock.

Where Brandon lost that fish on that video, my stepfather and I have fished at that lock for the past thirty years.  That's on the River at one of the locks.

It's nice to know that we have something in common with the pros; we can lose fish at the same body as water as they can.  🤣

In my trips there I have fished Harney Pond and the Monkeybox  but never in the locks or the Rim Canal.  Might need to rethink that. 😂
