Joe E Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Hey everyone I’m looking for a fishing boat. I have a $40,000 budget (could be pushed a little) and I’m looking for an aluminum deep V mutispecies boat (with a console). I’ve looked at brands like Alumacraft, Lund, ranger, and crestliner. I would want something with an engine size of 115 to 150. Keep in mind that I don’t have very much boat knowledge so I’m not sure what brands are reputable and which aren’t. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or experiences with certain boats. I would also prefer the size to be 17’ or more. Quote
DaubsNU1 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 @Joe E message me and we can talk details. I really wanted Alumacraft...loved the layout. My brother got a new Lund Alaskan in 2020. Excellent boat. @A-Jay has a great Lund, but that was a bit out of my price range. Looked at a bunch of different boats and was fortunate to find my Adventure used in NW Iowa. One of the keys for me was dealers near by. Lots of Lund dealers in my area. Only one Alumacraft dealer, and his inventory was not great. 2 Quote

Born 2 fish Posted March 10 Posted March 10 I think a 1775 or 1875 Lund impact should be on your short list. i had a 2014 1875 with a 150 it was a super nice boat. 1 Quote
