Daingerous > Magdraft.

I said it.  cant unsay it.   comparing 5" to 5" the Daingerous is outstanding.  here is why.  the hook.  it is up top, so I could slow it down and let it hit the tops of submerged grasses.  Magdraft 5".  hooks hangs at the bottom and is like that hook on a jet landing on an aircraft carrier.  it hooks everything.

hookup.  today was very good.  only one hard bump didnt hook up.  the rest where total snags of fish jaws.   I think I am 40% on the 5" magdraft.

longevity.  no comparison.  3 fish max on the Magdraft and that tiny magnet is gone.  if I didnt lose my Daingerous, it would still be viable.  it suffered zero rash with 4 fish.

swim action?  okay..the magdraft has that sexy head shake.   but I like it, I dont know what a bass thinks of it.   but the Daingerous doesnt roll to the side at any speed that I could tell.   the Magdraft has one speed it likes.

I'm eating Korean food with family tomorrow.   the restaurant is next to my bait shop.  I will buy many more Daingerous.  many.  it was FUUUUUNNNN!  it is go time.

(for the math impaired - my title reads:  Daingerous greater than Magdraft :D )

I have been wanting to try the Daingerous for the price point. Heard many good things. I did try the Magdraft and it was great. Caught 3 and the I snagged it. The eyeball came out after the first one. Can't wait to give the Daingerous a try.

I haven't used any of the Daingerous's yet but I will probably need to give the 5in a try. I have used the new 5in Magdraft and it's not bad (the old JDM 5in was terrible). I have caught a few on it but I have only used that one day. I like the action of it and I don't recall missing any fish. I will be going to a local shop tomorrow to discuss the current state of affairs in the tackle world. I will have to pick one up while I am there.

7" daingerous gets bit, swims great. Huge fan of the line through/top hook - I actually thought it was a fixed hook like a bacca burrito when I bought it.

I lived!!!   I asked my wife if we could leave for family dinner early so I could stop at the store for some more Daingerous.  I even showed her a picture of my fish...to her eye-rolling.  hahaha.

Use a frog hook on the Magdraft and replace the magnet with small round magnet.
Are you using the shallow or deep Daingeruos?

Tom

The magdraft has the Daingerous beat color wise thought.
I want to try some of the 6” unloaded version on a jighead for deeper water.

What do you all throw the 5” on as far as power and action?

Changing this.... I actually did throw the Megabass 5in on the 904c NRX+. My happy accident was throwing a weightless Horny Toad on the 883c BJR.

Just here to say I love the dangerous swimbait and caught a pile of tanks on the 6 and 7 on beast hooks.  Texas gizzard and black back shad are all ya need!
