  1. I use tatsu. @A-Jay do you know if there will be any sales soon?
  2. I’m a bit confused after reading this thread. I watched a video going over this new model of rod and it pegged them as competitors to the megabass p5 and the Daiwa steez AGS. Now reading this thread it seems there are a lot of people who would disagree with that sentiment. So have any members actually used these? How’s the weight, balance, sensitivity? Are these really on par with the megabass p5 and steez AGS?
  3. I hope it wasn’t eco pro. I bought a bunch of them years and years ago when they were considered one of the go to tungsten weights. I don’t like weights with inserts. This is very interesting. How can you tell which is which?
  4. The Daiwa steez a2 is 53,000 yen whereas it used to cost 50,200 yen.
  5. I’d like to know more about them. How soft is the plastic? How much do they weigh? What is the action like in the water? What is their intended purpose? They do look interesting.
  6. Sorry that happened to you! I can imagine the doctor looking at that bait and thinking “what in the world is that thing?” 😂
  7. I’m interested in the vision 100 SSR. I was interested in the vision 110 SR but I never got around to buying any. I love the vision 110, but most of the time it dives too deep for me to fish it. I’m really curious to see if the SSR has good action like the original and how shallow it actually runs.
  8. Anyone else notice the price increase at digitaka? Daiwa reels have definitely gone up. I can’t remember prices of other brands, does anyone know if they’ve gone up as well?
  9. Anyone notice that digitaka has increased their prices on Daiwa reels? Not sure about others, but Daiwa has gone up.
  10. Glad you got everything sorted out. I missed everyone! I started to worry it was something on my end that was keeping me off the site. Anyways, glad it’s back! Big thanks to everyone for their hard work!
  11. Dang. It had been sitting at 160 for quite some time. 157 is still good regardless.
  12. This looks pretty cool. Thanks for posting about it. Is it heavy enough to cast on a regular bait caster worm rod? Or do you need spinning/bfs?
  13. Thanks. I appreciate you looking into it. maybe I should sign up with one of my other email addresses?
  14. Thanks! By torque under load, do you mean it’s easier to reel in fish with the zillion hd?
  15. Love the mag speed worm too!
  16. Same here actually. I was not notified of this giveaway. Last giveaway I was notified about was the Plano box giveaway. @Glenn
  17. Just curious, but what makes this better than the steez? That’s a nice swim bait. What is it?
  18. What brand/model is that?
  19. I love those! I lost my last one a couple years ago. Wish I could find that color for sale again!
  20. Sweet! Thanks for the opportunity, Glenn!
  21. East or west coast?
  22. Thank you! That’s all great information! I just wanted to clarify my question wasn’t meant to be solely about bed fishing. In any case, it seems the beds I can see are all empty. Even after I’ve been sitting around for a bit. Do you think they might be done spawning by now?
  23. I have another question for my fellow South Floridians and particularly @Mike L I fish a natural “lake” here in southwest Florida that has largemouth and peacock bass as well as the other usual local species. The water is usually very stained/silty and there’s lots of submerged vegetation. For whatever reason, the lake is extremely clear right now and vegetation is sparse. I’m seeing dozens and dozens of beds right now. It’s bank access only, so I can’t tell what fish are on the beds. Most seem empty but I’ve noticed big tilapia on some of them. My question is, would this indicate the bass are done spawning? Also, how would the bass behave now that the water is so clear compared to how it usually is? I really like fishing jerkbaits but I hardly ever do because of all of the submerged vegetation where I fish. With how clear the water is and how sparse the vegetation is right now, I’m thinking I should try a jerk bait. What other baits would be good to throw? I think this is a good opportunity to fish some stuff I don’t use very often, but I’m also wondering if the water clarity difference might turn the fish off.
