  1. Really? What body of water are you fishing if you don’t mind me asking? I’m in the same area and I’m seeing a ton of beds. Not sure what species they’re from or if they’re from this year though.
  2. I like the ocea pliers. I’m curious about the poison glorious. Is that going to be the top of the line? What’s the msrp?
  3. I’m in southwest Florida. I wish I could join you for a day! Have a great trip!
  4. I was wondering why I couldn’t get on yesterday. Looks good so far! Thanks Glenn!
  5. Cool, thanks! What about sensitivity? I know it’s hard to quantify but I love the slack line sensitivity of tatsu for bottom contact baits.
  6. Woah! The steez a II reel went from $650 to $750! Sheesh! The steez AGS rod went from $669.99 to $599.99 so not quite as cheap as they used to be but definitely more reasonable! The steez AGS rod used to be $549.99. Edit to add: it appears JDM prices are unaffected as of right now, so that’s a big sigh of relief!
  7. Is this line a big upgrade from tatsu?
  8. Cheers to that! And right back at ya!
  9. @Glenn Any chance you think we could figure something like this out?
  10. I’m a bit late but happy new year everyone!
  11. You’re a few days late to this party. 😉 https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/268778-daiwa-2026-%E2%80%8B-😢-%E2%80%8B/ and to confirm, you’re talking Daiwa US, correct? If so this shouldn’t impact JDM prices.
  12. I just saw this in another thread the other day. A member posted a picture of a mop jig with a 10 inch worm as a trailer. Definitely gonna give worms a go soon and see what happens. Edit: it was @GreenPig
  13. Really? Interesting. I heard a rumor that if sales of the steez AGS were bad with the new prices they would be discontinued. Hopefully Daiwa US realized $669.99 for the steez AGS is too much. It would be awesome if they went back to $549.99. Any chance you could share where you’re getting this info from?
  14. Shouldn’t have an impact on JDM prices then.
  15. Thanks for posting. I was going to ask if there was anyway we could organize all of his articles to be accessible to all members, with the families permission of course. I think it would be a great way to keep his legacy alive on this forum.
  16. I’m definitely going to give it a shot down here in south Florida! Thanks for the tip!
  17. I can’t believe this. He was such an integral part of this forum and a wealth of knowledge. This is truly a major loss for all of us fishermen here at bassresource or in general. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. I pray you find comfort and peace. Rest In Peace, Tom.
  18. My apologies. That reel in your original post (17 steez) looks identical to a steez A. It’s hard to tell which frame is which from pictures. Edit I think you might be confusing models. I see the 2016 steez is the magnesium sv The 2017 steez is the aluminum A model. They both appear to have the same body style, right? That’s what I meant. The shape. I should have said body instead of frame.
  19. Cool! Thanks! Do you trim the skirt at all? Oh and what length worm do you normally use?
  20. Is the 17 steez the same frame as the steez A/AII?
  21. Sweet! Does that combo catch a decent amount of fish for you?
  22. Same here! Can’t wait for daylights savings!
